Kultura Celebrates Filipino Nostalgia at the Sari-Saring Anik-Anik Greenhills Crawl
Embedded into the Filipino lifestyle is our inherent love for anik-anik. Once used to describe everyday items kept for their “just-in-case” value (think colorful sando bags from recent grocery trips to empty biscuit and ice cream tins!), the term has since taken on new life. Today, anik-anik refers to an eclectic mix of quirky trinkets and playful keepsakes that speak to our individuality, creativity, and self-expression, leaning into the distinctly Filipino habit of preserving nostalgia.
Echoing this evolution, Kultura brings together a curated marketplace of all things anik-anik to the Main Atrium, South Wing, Greenhills Mall with Sari-Saring Anik-Anik Greenhills Crawl, happening from August 10 to 16, where you can explore little treasures that spark joy, carry memories or simply make you smile.
Designed for collectors, hobbyists, and anyone with a soft spot for the sentimental, the Crawl invites guests to discover a wide array of unique collectibles, vintage accessories, art prints and stickers, keychains and charms, vinyl records, and more. Whether handmade, upcycled, or one-of-a-kind, each one encourages guests to celebrate the anik-anik lover in all of us.
Extending the spirit of creativity beyond collecting, the Crawl is also set to feature various personalization stations, giving attendees the chance to DIY their very own anik-anik. At the Charm Bar, guests may customize jewelry, designing anything from statement earrings to colorful bracelets. Visitors can also create bespoke bouquets at the Crawl’s Flower Booth.
The experience continues with interactive stalls, including a photobooth offering on-demand printed photos to commemorate the opening day, plus gashopon and plinko games with special prizes throughout the event. All visitors can enjoy daily food and beverage sampling, making each visit a delightful mix of shopping, discovery, and local flavors.
Join the Crawl on its launch day, August 10, for a special live performance by P-pop singer Brei Binuya, setting the tone for a week-long pop-up of community, curios, and nostalgia.
