Meet the Makers

Independent Filipino makers, one pre-order window

Every category in this collection traces back to a small maker, not a factory line. Pearls are hand-strung, barong is hand-embroidered panel by panel, and beadwork is threaded one piece at a time. Pre-ordering is what lets them make to order instead of guessing at stock.

How Pre-Order Works

From reservation to your door

  • Step 1 · On reservation

    Reserve & pay

  • Step 2 · When the window closes

    Production begins

Once that maker's pre-order run is full or its date closes, they start cutting, stringing, or embroidering. Your piece is made for this batch, not pulled from a shelf.

  • Step 3 · Before shipment

    Quality check

Every piece is inspected and packed before it leaves the maker.

  • Step 4 · 7–15 business days*

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before reserving

When will I receive my order?

It depends on the maker. Most pre-order windows run for a few weeks, and once a maker's window closes, orders typically ship within 7 to 15 business days. Exact timing is shown on each piece's own pre-order page.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes. You can cancel for a full refund any time before that maker begins production. Once production starts, your piece is being made specifically for you, so cancellations after that point aren't available.

What payment methods do you accept?

GCash, Maya, BPI and BDO bank transfer, and Visa or Mastercard, the same secure, SSL-encrypted checkout used across Kultura Filipino.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes, to all 17 regions of the Philippines, with free shipping included on every pre-order.

What's included in my pre-order?

The piece you reserve in your chosen size or variant, plus any maker bonus noted on that item's own pre-order page.

Is everything made in the Philippines?

Yes. Every maker in this collection is based in the Philippines, from pearl stringers to barong embroiderers to beadwork artisans.

What if the product is different than expected?

Because many pieces are handmade, small variations are normal and part of the craft. If something's materially different from your order, such as the wrong size or color, reach out and we'll make it right.

Can I change my order after placing it?

Size and color can usually be changed by emailing customer service any time before that maker's window closes and production begins.
